Problem Possible Cause What To Do
Wrapped loads are wet at completion of sterilize cycle. Load improperly loaded in chamber. Be sure wrap is not touching the walls of the chamber. Do not place wrapped goods on bottom of tray rack (10" chamber only).
Load does not dry in drying cycle. Inadequate drying time. Sterilizer door not opened soon enough after completion of sterilize cycle. Load excessively wet: • Load size too large • Load touching chamber walls • Wrapped load in bottom of tray rack (10" chamber only). Door open too far or not far enough. Increase drying time. Open the door immediately after completion of a cycle. Refer to "Load Chart" and "Loading" procedures. Door should be open approximately 1/4" if using open door drying method. (Push latch down while door is open.)
